The twitter.now bluebird, back on its perch

The town square reopens

The bird is back. Let's party.

Somebody kept the porch light on. The bluebird found its way home to twitter.now — and the whole street is out celebrating. Bring noise. Bring everyone you lost track of.

What we're celebrating

The Fight

A brand worth reclaiming doesn't come back on its own. Somebody went and got it.

Trust

Rebuilt as the foundation this time, not a feature bolted on after the fact.

The Birdhouse

A constitution and community guidelines, written down where everyone can read them.

Early Access

The doors are opening. Founders first, then the rest of the town square.

Questions, answered

What is twitter.now?

twitter.now is a project by Operation Bluebird, Inc., which describes itself as rebuilding “the open, real-time town square on a foundation of trust.” It presents Twitter as a reclaimed brand and states plainly that it is not affiliated with X Corp. Its site is organised around The Fight, Trust, Early Access, and the Birdhouse, which has its own constitution and community guidelines.

Is twitter.party the official twitter.now site?

No. twitter.party is an independent fan page. It is not published by, endorsed by, or affiliated with Operation Bluebird, Inc., and nothing on it is an official announcement. The official project lives at twitter.now.

What is twitter.party, then?

A one-page celebration of the bluebird’s return, made by someone who was glad to see it come back. That is the whole thing. There is no app, no login, and no account to create.

Why does this page use the twitter.now logo?

The bluebird logo and every colour on this page belong to Operation Bluebird, Inc. They are used here as a tribute, with credit, and with a clear statement that this page is not theirs.

Where do donations on twitter.party go?

To the person who made this fan page. Donations do not go to Operation Bluebird, Inc. or to twitter.now, they do not fund the app, and they buy no early access, founder status, or anything else on the official site. It is a tip jar for a fan page.

What happened to the Twitter bluebird?

X Corp retired the bluebird when it rebranded Twitter to X. Operation Bluebird presents twitter.now as reclaiming that brand, and the bird along with it.

Join the party

Donate and join the party.

Every party needs someone to pay for the music. Chip in whatever it's worth to you, leave the name you want on the door, and you're on the guest list with everyone else who showed up for the bird.

PayPal

Any amount, one-off or monthly. Card works too — no PayPal account needed. Leave the name you want on the guest list in the note and I'll take it from there.

Where the money goes: straight to me, the person who made this fan page. It does not go to Operation Bluebird, Inc. or to twitter.now, it doesn't fund the app, and it buys no early access, founder status or anything else on the real site. It's a tip jar for a fan page, nothing more.

Names go on the list by hand, so give me a little time after you donate. Donating is entirely optional and there are no refunds — only chip in what you'd happily never see again.
